To be eligible for admission to the EMBA program, the applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • An accredited U.S. Equivalent University Degree.
  • At least 5 years successful executive/managerial experience in private or public sector.
  • A sound command of the English language.

English proficiency may be considered sufficient and a TOEFL score may not be required if an applicant possesses an undergraduate degree from a recognized university where English was the sole medium of instruction. A recent GMAT score if available may be submitted. If not, it must be submitted within 5 months from the start of the first course for final admission purpose. All applicants must attend an admission interview with a SIUC faculty. Applicants will be evaluated for admission in a probationary status by a review of their résumés, letters of recommendation, student copies of transcripts and personal interviews. Exceptions to some of the standard entry criteria may be granted in view of exceptional or extraordinary executive experience on a case-by-case basis.

The program involves regular use of email and internet. Students must possess or have convenient access to a personal computer with an Internet connection.
