Dr. Corey S. Bradford, Sr. has worked for Southern Illinois University over 15 years in managing complex financial and administrative functions with increasing levels of responsibilities throughout his career. His current title is Assistant Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs and University Ethics Officer. He provides fiscal stewardship over hundreds of millions of dollars annually. He advises the University President and other senior officers on important financial matters such as resource allocation, tuition policies, salary administration, compliance issues and budget development. He is responsible for delivering system-wide support services to enhance the instructional, research, and public service missions of the University. He assumes an active and collaborative role in strategic planning, policy development, administrative oversight, and resource analysis for the University. He has a track record of effective management and professional accomplishments. He has helped the University to secure over 3 billion dollars of state appropriations since 1995. He has implemented a new budget and planning system that tied new funding to the highest university priorities, invested targeted amounts into asset maintenance annually, established a contingency fund, and provided greater Board of Trustee involvement into the University budget process. He has chaired a statewide consortium of public universities engaged in sharing purchasing power to reduce the cost of goods and services by 20% from shared purchases of $80 million. He has led an economic development effort to revitalize a not-for-profit organization in East St. Louis called Katherine Dunham Centers for Arts & Humanities. He serves on multiple public advisory boards including the Carbondale Park District and the SIUC College of Business. Dr. Bradford is also an advisor to several student organizations including academic, faith-based, and fraternal organizations; and serves on numerous university wide committees and taskforce. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in business administration from SIUE in 1993, his M.S. degree in applied math and statistics from SIUE in 1995, attended Harvard University Graduate School of Education Management Development Program in 2005, and earned a Ph.D. degree in higher education and educational administration at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2008. |

Brien has held various positions with MB Financial Bank for the past ten years. His current responsibilities include leadership over the Retail Banking Department which delivers consumer and small business products through 40 branches in the Chicagoland area and one in Philadelphia. In addition, he has oversight of the bank’s electronic delivery channels including the call center and internet banking channels. During 2005, his responsibilities included the transformation of the business unit from a traditional banking model into a convenience based model highlighted by operating extended hours, seven days per week.
Prior to joining the Retail Banking area, Brien spent 12 years in Commercial Banking. His assignments there included the management of a Commercial banking Division, management of the Credit Department and development of the company’s Commercial Banking Officer Development and campus recruiting programs.
In 1992, Brien received his B.S. degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and in 1999 his M.B.A, with a concentration in Marketing, from DePaul University.
Undergraduate student activities included four years on the COBA Council, including President his senior year, and two years representing the College of Business as a USG Senator. Currently, Brien is a member of the Finance Department’s External Advisory Board.

Jeffery J. Speith

Mr. Speith started his career in management as a teenager in the restaurant industry and has since spent over twenty years in leadership positions, the last fourteen in banking. During his career he has worked in nearly all aspects of banking, and most enjoys his opportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals and his involvement in
community and business development activities. He earned his bachelors degree in management from SIUC in 1993, his MBA from SIUC in 1996, attended BAI Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin in 2001, and Leadership Development at Indiana University in 2008. Jeff has been with Old National Bank since 1995, and is active on the boards of Jackson Growth Alliance, Kiwanis, Friends of SIRRS, SIU College of Finance External Advisory Board, Southern Illinois Symphony, various City of Carbondale, and Southern Illinois University Task Force/Committees, and is involved with local area chambers and civic organizations in Jackson, Williamson, Saline, and Jefferson Counties in southern Illinois. His current responsibilities include oversight of the southern Illinois Region of Old National Bank, an $8 billion regional bank headquartered in Evansville IN. |

Drew Stoker

Mr. Drew Stoker is the manager of the Contracts & Pricing Department in Supply Chain Services of the Aerospace Support Business Unit in Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems. He is responsible for U.S. Government and non-USG contracting for spares, repairs, and retrofit services. Most of Mr. Stoker’s career with Boeing has revolved around production aircraft programs where the government customers are procuring the aircraft and associated equipment. He is also responsible for support and flight test programs on major fiscal year contracts.
Mr. Stoker graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a B.S. in Finance. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy for eight years where he was a Naval Aviator. After completing his duties with the Navy, Mr. Stoker went to work for McDonnell Douglas Corporation for thirteen years and then signed on with The Boeing Company in 1995.
In addition to Mr. Stoker’s career responsibilities, he participates as a Boy Scout of America Volunteer Leader where he assists Scouts from Life-to-Eagle rank, and he organizes and plans High Adventure trips.
