The ultimate goals of the College of Business and Administration Minority Program are to provide appropriate support services and incentives to enable more minority students (Native American, African American, Asian American, and Hispanic) to successfully complete their educational objectives without interrupting or ending their course of study in the College of Business and Administration.
The primary objectives of the College of Business and Administration Minority Program are to enhance the student's college experience and increase the retention and graduation rates of currently enrolled minority students by helping them to meet their social, cultural and educational needs.
Through the College of Business and Administration Minority Program, qualified minority high school students have an opportunity to participate in two summer programs -- 1) Careers in Business, and 2) Summer Bridge Program. Both programs are designed for minority students who have a true desire not only to attend college but also to excel in college. The programs give minority students an opportunity to learn about different professions and expose the students to some of the basic subjects presented at the college level. |
