Pranger joins Chain Reaction Ecommerce, Inc.

Scott M. Pranger, marketing alumnus, Hall of Famer and Dean’s External Advisory Board member, is the new executive vice president of global sales and business development for Chain Reaction Ecommerce, Inc. (CRE) in Atlanta, Ga. 

CRE is a venture capital-backed corporation that develops and markets ecommerce software and related services. Founded in 2001, the company has more than 150,000 small and medium businesses using its CRE Loaded (www.creloaded.com) web store product. 

CRE also supports over 700 businesses today through its premium SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offering. The company’s lead investor is Atlanta-based Total Technology Ventures (www.ttvatlanta.com) who was also an investor in Magnet Communications where Pranger previously served as chief operating officer and on the company’s Board of Directors. 

Pranger earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from SIU College of Business in 1986. 

Before joining CRE, Pranger was vice president of worldwide sales at DataPath, a global provider of network management software to the media and entertainment, telecommunications, and government and defense industries. 

Pranger has more than 20 years of information technology, sales, marketing and executive management experience. As vice president of worldwide sales, he oversaw the company's domestic and international sales organizations.
